I love many things about Jewell County, but the thing I love the most happened in May 2008. Our business suffered a direct hit from an F3 tornado, leaving us with debris and a concrete slab. The next morning, our local leaders and people from all over the county and surrounding counties were there to help. That was something I’ll never forget—the heart and generosity right here at home.
